Description

Lead architecture and technical strategy for large Azure programs and portfolios.
Define modernization blueprints, reference architectures, and standards across applications, platforms, and data.
Translate business and product strategy into cloud architecture roadmaps and execution plans.
Guide major architecture decisions and resolve high-impact technical trade-offs.
Provide architectural oversight through design reviews, governance, and cross-team alignment.
Promote modular design, CI/CD, observability, and strong non-functional requirements practices.
Use AI tools to accelerate discovery, design, code, testing, documentation, and analysis.
Lead executive and senior stakeholder conversations on modernization, platform strategy, AI adoption, and roadmaps.
Mentor Senior Architects, Delivery Architects, and senior engineers while shaping career development.
Identify growth opportunities, support pursuits, and help create reusable delivery assets and enablement materials.

Requirements

12+ years of experience delivering solutions in application development, cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or data and analytics at enterprise scale.
7+ years of experience in solution architecture and leading development or engineering teams at program scale.
10+ years of relevant experience with ability to lead enterprise-wide AI/ML adoption strategies.
Deep expertise in several areas such as agents and orchestration, search and retrieval, LLM evaluation and operations, responsible AI, Azure AI platforms, cloud engineering, data integration, or analytics.
Experience integrating emerging AI frameworks into enterprise-ready solutions.
Expertise with modern development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
Relevant Azure or Databricks certifications in AI, Data, or Architecture.
Proven experience leading Azure-based modernization, transformation, AI, or platform programs at enterprise scale.
Experience leading hybrid and remote teams across multiple time zones.
Strong consulting, executive engagement, analytical, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Agile or Scrum at scale, including backlog structuring, dependency management, integration planning, and release management.
Relevant cloud architecture certifications are strongly preferred.
