Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services following software engineering best practices.
  • Build and scale secure REST APIs and data-driven services with reliable business logic.
  • Optimize database performance and manage data models and migrations across SQL and NoSQL environments.
  • Design self-healing services that can detect and recover automatically from failures.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code aligned with quality and architecture standards.
  • Implement unit, integration, and contract tests to ensure software reliability.
  • Collaborate with Business Experts, UX/UI designers, stakeholders, infrastructure, and delivery teams to deliver value iteratively.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Deploy solutions in cloud environments with attention to scalability, security, and resilience.
  • Monitor production performance using metrics and alerts, and document technical solutions to share knowledge with the team.

Requirements

  • Experience developing secure REST APIs and applying API security best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot for building robust backend services.
  • Experience working with SQL databases, including data modeling and efficient queries.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles for maintainable and scalable software design.
  • Experience using Git in collaborative development environments.
  • Experience with automated testing to ensure software quality and stability.
  • Knowledge of secure data handling throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaboration, proactivity, good communication, autonomy, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and production monitoring is valued.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases and self-healing service design is a plus.
