Description

  • Design and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure that improves development speed and efficiency.
  • Implement infrastructure as code practices to automate provisioning and keep environments consistent and reproducible.
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, and reliable software releases.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand workflows and translate needs into effective infrastructure solutions.
  • Provide operational support and remove technical blockers in the day-to-day development cycle.
  • Define and maintain standards and documentation that improve deployment quality and developer autonomy.
  • Automate repetitive or complex software lifecycle tasks using scripts and internal tools.
  • Monitor platform performance and costs, and apply observability practices to optimize operations.
  • Lead AI-enhanced operations initiatives such as anomaly detection, auto-remediation, and predictive scaling.
  • Support the platform as a product with a focus on developer experience (DevEx).

Requirements

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions; GitLab CI is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud computing, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes for deploying applications, managing manifests, and troubleshooting services; advanced cluster administration is not required.
  • Practical programming or scripting experience in Python or Bash for automation and internal tooling.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, especially Terraform, is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of auto-scaling with KEDA, service mesh technologies such as Istio, or Cloud Functions in GCP is desirable.
  • Strong service orientation and empathy for working effectively with development teams.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, understand developer challenges, and prioritize solutions that improve daily experience.
