Description

  • Own strategy, execution, and full P&L responsibility for Germany across Beauty, Baby, and Pet categories.
  • Drive and exceed sales targets, performance metrics, profitability, and market share goals.
  • Lead customer negotiations, joint business planning, and long-term key account relationships with German retailers and distributors.
  • Build and execute customer strategies and category plans that support market success.
  • Manage forecasting, financial planning, and other financial operations for the market.
  • Maximize brand availability, visibility, and recognition in-store and online through distribution, displays, and activations.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design and execute campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver customer performance, supply, and P&L goals.
  • Resolve business challenges, build strong relationships, and help develop team capability.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, ownership, and rapid growth within the team.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience working directly with top German retailers such as Edeka, Kaufland, Rewe, DM, or Rossmann.
  • Experience in an account manager, category manager, or other customer-facing sales role.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an owner/operator approach to the business.
  • Track record of advancement and strong motivation for growth in role and responsibility.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in both English and German.
  • Grocery or pet food experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and commercial performance in FMCG or consumer goods is strongly relevant.
