Description

  • Manage the full proposal lifecycle, including scheduling, resource coordination, input collection, reviews, and submission.
  • Develop proposal response strategies, task lists, timelines, and work plans for case-specific opportunities.
  • Partner with sales to refine proposal strategy and align responses to client needs.
  • Ensure proposals are compliant with RFX requirements, outlines, checklists, and milestones.
  • Create, edit, and finalize proposal materials from first draft through final submission.
  • Oversee production of final proposals, including formatting, technical editing, and reproduction.
  • Maintain consistent product messaging, updated language, and accurate data across proposal materials.
  • Support creation of related sales materials such as presentations, contracts, grants, research studies, white papers, and marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate with the broader proposal team and provide flexible support during busy periods.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing the proposal process for K-12 schools, districts, and education agencies.
  • Demonstrated success responding to education or transportation organization RFXs.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required.
  • APMP Foundation Certification required; APMP Practitioner Certification preferred.
  • Experience with Deltek (GovWin), GovSpend, Navigator, and RFP Schoolwatch.
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Experience with Google Suite, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Hangouts, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Professional, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and deliver on time.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and high visibility.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
