Description

  • Develop and implement a strategy for scaling and managing the driver acquisition process.
  • Forecast driver demand and hiring needs for peak and non-peak periods.
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Recruiting, HR, safety, and training teams to align staffing plans and resources.
  • Oversee the full driver acquisition lifecycle from recruitment through onboarding.
  • Standardize and improve driver training, certification, and onboarding processes.
  • Ensure drivers are properly vetted, credentialed, trained, and onboarded to company standards.
  • Own driver recruiting performance metrics, define KPIs, and report results to leadership.
  • Conduct national and market-level competitive analysis to improve recruitment and retention.
  • Manage a high-visibility, large-scale program and support leadership decision-making in ambiguous situations.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in statistics, HR, mathematics, economics, or an MBA.
  • 10+ years of relevant domain experience, including leadership of a workforce planning team across partner sub-teams.
  • Experience solving problems with visible and non-visible risks, roadblocks, and conflicting constraints.
  • Experience supporting and influencing senior executives.
  • Experience setting technical requirements for process automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with practical experience using inferential statistics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to dive deep into data.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with senior leaders and cross-functional colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and ambiguous environment using both analytical rigor and judgment.
  • Must be located within close proximity to a Zum yard for a primarily remote role.
