Description

Architect and deliver complex, high-value platform features that are scalable and observable.
Lead the integration and debugging of AI workflows to improve engineering throughput while maintaining quality.
Evaluate technical tradeoffs and make architectural decisions that reduce long-term complexity and maintenance.
Translate ambiguous business requirements into staged execution plans that reduce delivery risk.
Communicate the business impact of technical debt and architectural decisions to stakeholders.
Refactor fragile code paths and improve standards for code review, testing, and documentation.
Identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks before they affect product roadmap delivery.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design guidance, and AI-native practices.
Own OKRs and KPIs, ensuring accountability for delivery outcomes, quality, timelines, and blockers.
Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and FinOps teams on multi-entity consolidation and global tax compliance across NOAM, EMEA, and APAC.

Requirements

6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience leading complex projects from ambiguity through successful production delivery.
Ability to design highly testable solutions for high-consequence financial business logic.
Experience working effectively in fully remote, asynchronous, globally distributed environments.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders and time zones.
Fintech, payments, or ERP-integrated SaaS experience is preferred.
Experience with Oracle NetSuite, financial operations, or global tax and consolidation systems is preferred.

Benefits

Base salary of $135,000–$210,000 plus equity.
Fully remote, globally distributed work environment.
High-trust flexibility with significant autonomy and minimal micromanagement.
Employment available as at-will, fixed-term, or permanent contract depending on jurisdiction.
