Description

  • Design intuitive, user-centered experiences for web applications, enterprise systems, and digital products.
  • Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, and usability testing to identify UX improvements.
  • Translate business requirements into user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs.
  • Design responsive, accessible, and visually engaging user interfaces aligned with branding and accessibility standards.
  • Create interactive prototypes to validate concepts and gather stakeholder feedback before development.
  • Develop design specifications, annotations, and documentation for developer handoff.
  • Collaborate with the Web Engineer to ensure technical feasibility and design fidelity during implementation.
  • Participate in Agile planning sessions, sprint reviews, backlog refinement, and project discussions as requested.
  • Review completed development work and provide feedback on quality, usability, accessibility, and consistency.
  • Contribute to the design system, UI component library, visual standards, and continuous product improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Communication, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • 5 years of professional UX/UI design experience with web applications, enterprise software, SaaS platforms, or complex digital products.
  • Demonstrated expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, visual design, and responsive web design.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma for interface design, prototyping, and component management.
  • Strong portfolio showing the full UX process from research through production-ready deliverables.
  • Experience collaborating directly with software engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience creating and maintaining design systems and reusable UI component libraries.
  • Working knowledge of responsive web design principles and WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative environment.
  • High English level (C1+).
  • Must be located in LATAM.
  • Preferred: experience designing higher education, healthcare, or other enterprise applications.
  • Preferred: experience with design systems supporting multiple products or platforms.
  • Preferred: familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development concepts.
  • Preferred: experience conducting usability testing and interpreting user analytics.
  • Preferred: experience working within Agile or Scrum software development environments.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Preferred: experience designing administrative portals, dashboards, workflow applications, or student-facing digital platforms.
  • Preferred: experience with AI-assisted design tools and modern UX research methodologies.
