Description

  • Maintain, expand, and document the Figma design system so components are clean, consistent, and implementation-ready.
  • Produce detailed design specifications for engineering partners to support feature development.
  • Assist senior designers with user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity assets.
  • Audit components, patterns, and screens to identify inconsistencies and refinement opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure components are implemented accurately and behave as intended.
  • Promote best practices for accessibility, scalability, and visual consistency across Raya and Places.
  • Participate in design critiques and contribute feedback and system-level solutions to design challenges.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of product or UI/UX design experience with exposure to design systems and component-based design.
  • Fluency in Figma, including libraries, variants, and structured design files.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to translate requirements into clean, accurate design specs for engineering.
  • A portfolio demonstrating UI craft, design systems work, and scalable design patterns.
  • Degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience maintaining or contributing to robust design systems (preferred).
  • A strong sense of structure and organization, with the ability to keep libraries tidy and well documented (preferred).
  • Comfort collaborating closely with engineering across devices and screen sizes (preferred).
  • A proactive approach to refinement and a desire to help scale design (preferred).
