Description

  • Own the full sales cycle for assigned Federal Civilian accounts, from prospecting and discovery through proof-of-value, negotiation, and close.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan with clear milestones, pipeline targets, and account prioritization.
  • Pursue net-new logo opportunities through cold outreach, networking, partner activity, and event-based engagement.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual quotas through new business and strategic upsell and cross-sell.
  • Forecast pipeline activity and revenue using MEDDPICC qualification criteria and revenue intelligence tools.
  • Engage customers and prospects to understand mission requirements, security challenges, and organizational pain points.
  • Translate customer needs into value-based solution narratives that communicate differentiation and ROI.
  • Lead executive presentations, product demonstrations, and business reviews to advance opportunities.
  • Collaborate with BDRs, Solution Engineers, Channel Partners, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to build pipeline and support deal progression.
  • Provide feedback to Product Management and Leadership on competitive dynamics, customer needs, and market trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of enterprise software or technology sales experience in the public sector with a consistent record of quota achievement and overachievement.
  • 3+ years of cybersecurity sales experience, with preference for mobile security, endpoint security, or zero-trust architectures.
  • Experience applying MEDDPICC or a similar qualification methodology such as MEDDIC, Challenger, or Force Management.
  • Proven hunter mentality with experience building pipeline from scratch through cold outreach, networking, partner co-selling, and event engagement.
  • Deep familiarity with Federal Civilian procurement processes, contract vehicles such as GSA MAS, SEWP, BPAs, OTAs, and GWACs, and the federal budget cycle.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM for pipeline management, forecasting, and activity documentation.
  • Experience with Clari or a comparable revenue intelligence platform.
  • Exceptional executive communication, active listening, and consultative selling skills with the ability to engage at the C-suite and SES/Deputy Secretary level.
  • Ability to travel 50%+ of the time.
  • Active security clearance (Secret or higher) or prior clearance eligibility is a strong advantage.
  • Experience selling SaaS or subscription-based security platforms into large Federal Civilian agencies such as DHS, HHS, DOT, USDA, Treasury, DOJ, or State is preferred.
  • Established relationships with Federal Civilian IT/security decision-makers, CISOs, and procurement officials are preferred.
  • Experience with Account-Based Marketing principles and collaboration with marketing on targeted agency campaigns is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of sales engagement and intelligence tools such as Outreach, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is preferred.
