Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and microservices that support cloud infrastructure platforms.
  • Build and expose scalable APIs and services to support production environments.
  • Develop automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and operational workflows.
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions and templates to automate provisioning and deployments.
  • Build internal tools for monitoring, alerting, observability, and self-healing mechanisms to improve system reliability.
  • Design and operate high-availability, resilient, and performant systems on public cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, Security, and Product Engineering teams; participate in design reviews and architecture discussions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and tooling to reduce operational overhead and increase platform efficiency.

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
  • Experience building production-grade backend services and designing scalable distributed systems.
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI) and working experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Helm, or CloudFormation and with CI/CD pipelines/automated deployment systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms and implementing automation for reliability and self-healing.
  • Strong understanding of API design and microservices architecture; familiarity with Git-based workflows and modern development practices.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and participating in code reviews.
  • Preferred: experience in large-scale SaaS environments; knowledge of streaming platforms (Kafka/Kinesis); experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis; experience building automation tools for SRE/platform engineering; familiarity with cloud security and compliance requirements.
