Description

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to understand prospect environments, cost challenges, optimization goals, and business objectives through technical discovery sessions.
  • Own and drive technical validation and Proof of Value exercises, including POC preparation, management, and outcome delivery.
  • Tailor and deliver platform demonstrations that address prospect use cases and concerns.
  • Develop business cases and ROI analyses that quantify cost savings and performance improvements.
  • Act as the internal go-to expert for SELECT and support seamless implementation experiences for prospects and customers.
  • Own the technical win by guiding prospects through evaluations and addressing technical requirements.
  • Represent DoiT and SELECT at company events and industry conferences through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Translate customer pain points and feature gaps into structured feedback for R&D and roadmap discussions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in internal systems and contribute business performance metrics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role within a B2B SaaS company, with significant experience selling to Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery users.
  • Deep and demonstrable understanding of Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery, along with associated best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions focused on Cloud Data Platforms, observability, optimization, FinOps, or data integration.
  • Exceptional data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends, outliers, correlations, and actionable insights.
  • Strong experience using product data to build compelling business cases and ROI justifications.
  • Ability to explain complex Cloud Data Platform and SELECT concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Experience presenting to executive-level prospects and customers on Cloud Data Platform and cost management topics.
  • Experience with modern technical selling methodologies and success in competitive sales environments, including trial, demo, and RFP processes.
  • Prior experience as a Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery data engineer/architect or FinOps professional is a plus.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced, scaling business, ideally within the Cloud Data Platform ecosystem.
