Description

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to run technical discovery sessions and understand prospects’ cloud data platform environments, cost challenges, and business goals.
  • Own and drive technical validation and Proof of Value exercises, including POC preparation and execution.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations that address prospect use cases and technical concerns.
  • Develop business cases and ROI analyses that quantify cost savings and performance improvements.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for SELECT and support prospects through the technical evaluation process.
  • Take ownership of technical win strategy for SELECT engagements and build customer confidence in the solution.
  • Represent DoiT and SELECT at events and industry conferences through presentations and live demonstrations.
  • Translate customer pain points and feature gaps into structured feedback for R&D and roadmap discussions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in internal systems and contribute business metrics and performance reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering at a B2B SaaS company, with significant exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery users.
  • Deep understanding of Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery and related best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions for cloud data platforms, observability, optimization, FinOps, or data integration.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends, outliers, correlations, and actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to build business cases and ROI justifications using product and customer data.
  • Ability to explain complex cloud data platform concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience presenting to executive-level prospects and customers on cloud data platform and cost management topics.
  • Experience with modern technical selling methodologies and competitive sales processes, including trials, demos, and RFPs.
  • Prior experience as a Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery data engineer/architect, or as a FinOps professional, is a plus.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, scaling business, ideally within the cloud data platform ecosystem.
  • Remote role based in the UK, Netherlands, or Sweden.
