Description

  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including strategic transactions, partner agreements, license agreements, SaaS and professional services agreements, data processing agreements, and vendor contracts.
  • Support and lead legal work for channel partner activities, including MSP, VAR, distribution, and SI relationships.
  • Advise on complex legal matters tied to go-to-market and strategic initiatives.
  • Handle day-to-day legal inquiries in coordination with other legal team members and business units.
  • Support ad hoc legal matters such as corporate entity matters, risk assessments, compliance documentation, and data privacy assessments and reviews.
  • Assist with product launch support, collections, human resources matters, and litigation matters as needed.
  • Manage legal risk while aligning contract terms and issues with business goals.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate is required.
  • 8-12 years of substantive experience providing legal advice in an international corporate environment.
  • Strong experience supporting sales teams in a technology company.
  • Experience with SaaS and channel partner programs is required.
  • Experience with product and offering launches is preferred.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and balance sales needs with risk management.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects across multiple time zones.
  • Self-driven, resourceful, results-oriented, deadline-oriented, and highly proficient at multitasking.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing business environment.
  • English proficiency plus knowledge of another language is an advantage.
