Description

  • Strategize, draft, and negotiate complex partnership agreements, including embedded services, channel/reseller agreements, and referral programs.
  • Partner with Partnerships, Sales, Finance, Product, and other cross-functional teams to structure and review agreements that align with business goals and manage legal and operational risk.
  • Lead the structuring and negotiation of strategic embedded and channel partnerships.
  • Provide additional legal support for EMEA sales by reviewing, redlining, and negotiating commercial agreements alongside regional counsel when bandwidth allows.
  • Develop and improve templates, playbooks, processes, and knowledge resources for partnership deals.
  • Provide legal training and guidance to Partnership and other go-to-market stakeholders on complex commercial issues.
  • Resolve negotiation issues with a solutions-focused mindset and minimize unnecessary escalation.
  • Support enterprise-level SaaS transactions and global sales matters as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience with partnership, embedded, reseller, and channel agreements is required.
  • Experience supporting commercial transactions, particularly enterprise-level SaaS agreements and global sales support.
  • Prior HR tech industry experience or familiarity with bespoke HR services agreements is preferred.
  • Strong commercial drafting skills with the ability to create clear, precise, and enforceable partnership frameworks.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop practical solutions for complex commercial challenges.
  • Strong commercial instincts and strategic thinking, including comfort letting go of immaterial points to keep deals moving.
  • Strong working knowledge of data protection laws, especially GDPR.
  • Background in U.S. data protection laws is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with partnership and GTM stakeholders while maintaining independent legal judgment.
