Description

  • Partner with Engineering to define and maintain event taxonomy, tracking standards, and instrumentation quality.
  • Build and maintain scalable self-service dashboards for product teams.
  • Define, document, and maintain clear product metric definitions as a shared source of truth.
  • Improve measurement approaches as the product evolves and new signals emerge.
  • Work within the product analytics stack, including Mixpanel, Segment, Looker, and dbt, to support reporting and modeling.
  • Build and maintain dbt models for core product entities and behaviors.
  • Structure and analyze Voice of the Customer inputs, including support, churn, NPS, sales feedback, and customer interviews.
  • Support data quality through testing, monitoring, documentation, and automation.
  • Deliver recurring product analytics reporting on adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Present analyses and recommendations to product managers, business stakeholders, and executives.
  • Connect product usage and customer signals to revenue, retention, and roadmap decisions.
  • Automate reporting and self-service workflows while maintaining metric integrity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product analytics or a related role.
  • Experience working closely with digital product teams and influencing decisions through data.
  • Practical understanding of how AI is reshaping analytics workflows.
  • Experience using AI to accelerate insight generation, documentation, and distribution.
  • Ability to build guardrails and safely operationalize AI.
  • Track record of building systems that scale across many groups.
  • Strong builder mindset with the ability to create solutions, processes, and tools in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to prioritize, structure problems, and execute independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Experience presenting analysis to product managers and business stakeholders in a clear, actionable way.
  • Advanced SQL required.
  • Experience with event-based analytics.
  • Familiarity with Mixpanel or similar product analytics tools, Looker or similar BI tools, Segment or similar, and dbt.
  • Exposure to public cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.
  • Experience with FinOps/cloud cost management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise SaaS concepts is preferred.
