Description

  • Partner with Engineering to define and maintain event taxonomy, tracking standards, and instrumentation quality.
  • Build and maintain scalable self-service dashboards for product teams.
  • Define, document, and maintain clear product metric definitions as a shared source of truth.
  • Improve what and how product behavior is measured as the product evolves.
  • Use AI tools to generate insights and recommendations from product signals.
  • Work within the product analytics stack, including Mixpanel, Segment, Looker, and dbt, to ensure accurate and accessible reporting.
  • Build and maintain dbt models for core product entities and behaviors.
  • Structure and analyze Voice of the Customer inputs such as support tickets, churn, NPS, sales feedback, and customer interviews.
  • Support data quality through testing, monitoring, documentation, and automation.
  • Deliver recurring product analytics reporting on adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Present analytics readouts to business stakeholders and executives with findings and recommendations.
  • Analyze connections between product behavior and revenue or retention outcomes.
  • Support automated reporting and AI-assisted workflows while maintaining metric integrity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product analytics or a related role.
  • Experience working closely with digital product teams and influencing decisions through data.
  • Practical understanding of how AI is reshaping analytics workflows.
  • Experience using AI to accelerate insight generation, documentation, and distribution.
  • Ability to build guardrails, trust, and safe operationalization of AI.
  • Track record of building systems that scale across multiple groups.
  • Builder mindset with the ability to create solutions, processes, tools, and paths where none exist.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and working independently across teams.
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting analysis to product managers and business stakeholders.
  • Advanced SQL required.
  • Experience with event-based analytics.
  • Familiarity with Mixpanel or similar analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with Looker or similar BI tools.
  • Familiarity with Segment or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with dbt.
  • Exposure to public cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, FinOps/cloud cost management, and enterprise SaaS concepts is preferred.
