Description

  • Own an assigned internal department as a dedicated product surface and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Research business problems, design solutions, code implementations, and launch production workflows.
  • Build, test, and deploy AI-powered automations end to end using modern AI tooling.
  • Develop internal-facing web applications, dashboards, APIs, and backend services.
  • Design multi-step agent workflows with tool use, human-in-the-loop escalation, and guardrails.
  • Integrate LLMs, MCP, and external tools or data sources into production systems.
  • Work across engineering and business contexts to translate messy workflows into technical solutions.
  • Monitor, log, and troubleshoot AI-powered systems to ensure reliability in production.
  • Use AI coding assistants and autonomous agents to accelerate research, development, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, including building and deploying production applications.
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience building multimodal LLM-powered applications in production, such as AI agents, agentic workflows, or LLM-integrated tools.
  • Strong experience with AI coding environments and autonomous agents such as Claude Code, Gemini CLI, and Codex.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, including Anthropic Claude API and/or OpenAI API and Google Gemini API.
  • Experience building or consuming MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.
  • Experience designing agentic architectures with multi-step workflows, decision-making, and human-in-the-loop escalation.
  • Strong software fundamentals and the ability to produce production-quality code.
  • Demonstrated ability to take a project from idea to deployed product independently.
  • Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Next.js, Python, Firestore/Firebase, and Google Cloud Platform tools such as Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and IAM.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, webhooks, secure authentication patterns, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
  • Early adopter mindset for rapidly changing AI tooling and frameworks.
