Description

  • Deliver against assigned sales and pipeline goals while maintaining an excellent customer experience for prospects.
  • Build and execute a territory sales plan for PerfectScale's Kubernetes optimization platform.
  • Partner with Solution Engineering to lead solution-focused sales conversations.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and guide customers through the full sales cycle.
  • Refine the customer sales process to reduce friction and accelerate adoption of PerfectScale.
  • Contribute to territory strategy and generate new business growth opportunities.
  • Understand complex customer requirements from both business and technical perspectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing on pipeline generation campaigns and capture the voice of the customer.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales experience with a consistent record of meeting and exceeding quota.
  • Technical background with experience and understanding of Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, and DevOps ecosystems.
  • High degree of self-discipline with accurate sales forecasting and CRM management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, confident, thorough, and tenacious.
  • Analytical, data-driven, detail-oriented, and able to operate from big-picture strategy to detailed execution.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to contribute directly to sales and business development activities.
  • Ideally based in the MST or PST time zone within the United States.
  • Preferred: experience working with enterprise and mid-market prospects with significant Kubernetes and cloud-native investments.
