Description

  • Embed within customer teams to provide strategic guidance and co-develop cloud solutions.
  • Lead and support Google Cloud migration, modernization, and transformation projects.
  • Design and implement infrastructure as code and cloud engineering solutions.
  • Work on application modernization using containerization and serverless platforms.
  • Build and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Address cloud networking, data analytics, and related platform topics.
  • Collaborate with clients to make technology decisions and remove migration obstacles.
  • Apply objective, first-principles reasoning to choose the right tools and processes for each engagement.
  • Write scripts and automation to support infrastructure and platform operations.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience working with a major public cloud platform.
  • Experience with Google Cloud is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with common DevOps tools and practices.
  • Strong technical skills in at least one of these areas: Linux system administration, networking, or MySQL/database administration.
  • Experience with traditional data center environments and technologies such as VMware, physical servers, storage arrays, networks, and firewalls.
  • Experience migrating applications from a data center environment to a public cloud is preferred.
  • Ability to write scripts and automation in at least one programming or scripting language.
  • Comfortable being on video in internal and client meetings.
  • Conversational proficiency in English.
