Description

  • Serve as the senior technical authority on advanced AI and machine learning solutions.
  • Partner with sales and business development on pre-sales scoping, solution design, and client pitches.
  • Lead architecture and end-to-end delivery of secure, scalable AI systems for clients.
  • Collaborate with Cloud & Data Architects to design and deploy comprehensive client solutions.
  • Design private, data-sovereign AI systems that meet GDPR and data privacy requirements.
  • Ensure model explainability, bias mitigation, and adherence to ethical and safety guardrails.
  • Architect hosting, fine-tuning, and optimization of proprietary and open-source foundation models on hyperscaler platforms.
  • Guide clients in selecting cloud-native technologies, with emphasis on Google Cloud for production agentic systems.
  • Mentor customers and internal engineering teams on training, serving, MLOps, and agentic system best practices.
  • Perform ROI analysis and develop cost-optimization strategies for economically sustainable AI deployments.
  • Contribute to Zencore’s external thought leadership through writing, speaking, and community engagement.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership as a player-coach and foster deep technical excellence.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, natural sciences, mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive experience in a senior or principal architect role.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering complex, production-grade machine learning systems with measurable business value.
  • Deep hands-on architectural experience with at least one major cloud platform such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Direct hands-on experience with Google Cloud technologies such as Vertex AI, GKE, and TPUs is a significant plus.
  • Proven expertise in LLM optimization, including quantization, pruning, and efficient fine-tuning such as LoRA.
  • Experience with high-performance serving technologies such as vLLM and TensorRT-LLM.
  • Hands-on experience with high-performance ML frameworks such as JAX and PyTorch/XLA.
  • Experience designing and deploying agentic workflows using tools such as LangGraph, LangChain, Google ADK, Vertex AI Agent Builder, or LangSmith Agent Builder.
  • Strong understanding of secure, private, and data-sovereign AI architecture patterns.
  • Experience with LLM observability and evaluation tools such as LangSmith, LangFuse, or Vertex AI Evaluation.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and business value to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for mentoring and continuous learning in the AI landscape.
