Description

  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based professional learning sessions in-person and virtually for partner schools and districts nationwide.
  • Plan and manage all training logistics, including travel coordination, demonstration accounts, training materials, and review of prior session notes.
  • Use strategic questioning and adult-learning techniques to engage participants, surface insights, and deepen learning.
  • Share Zearn research, results, and implementation guidance to help educators understand and apply Zearn’s approach.
  • Ensure participant questions are answered clearly during and after sessions and coordinate follow-up with the Partnerships Team.
  • Capture and share detailed session summaries, feedback, and outcomes to inform future partner engagements and internal team learnings.
  • Analyze participant feedback and survey data to continuously improve facilitation practice and training content.
  • Participate in ongoing facilitator training, practice, and revision to build deep expertise in Zearn products, PD content, and delivery approach.
  • Surface trends, educator insights, and opportunities from the field to inform product, partnership, and academic team decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of K-8 math teaching experience (listed as a potential marker of fit).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (listed as a potential marker of fit).
  • Experience leading professional learning for teachers and/or school leaders (preferred).
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationally up to 90% annually and to facilitate sessions during early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as partner needs require.
  • Must reside in the Eastern Time Zone within North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, or the Washington, D.C. metro area and be within a one-hour drive of a major U.S. airport (candidates in Central Time Zone are not eligible).
  • Strong personal organization and time-management skills, and the ability to plan logistics for frequent travel and remote/in-person sessions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, active listening, and adult-facilitation skills for presenting onstage and leading PD.
  • Comfort with learning and internalizing Zearn’s products, research foundation, and implementation model, and committing to ongoing facilitator training.
  • Ability to analyze feedback data, troubleshoot in-session problems, and collaborate cross-functionally with Partnerships and Academic teams; readiness expectation to solo-deliver foundational training within the first quarter of employment.
