Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program officers and manage day-to-day funder communications.
  • Own the reporting lifecycle for a small portfolio of high-dollar, multi-year grants and deliver reports ahead of schedule.
  • Lead bimonthly, quarterly, and annual funder reports, translating complex product and implementation data into clear narratives.
  • Prepare leadership for funder check-ins by anticipating questions and assembling data and talking points.
  • Track current and prospective grants to forecast reporting, proposal, and funding milestones.
  • Manage the grant application process for new strategic opportunities across cross-functional teams.
  • Track grant commitments, identify risks early, and ensure internal teams have enough lead time to resolve blockers.
  • Build and maintain grant-management systems, documentation, and a CRM record of all deadlines, interactions, and reporting obligations.
  • Collaborate with Finance to track grant spending and budgets against funder requirements.
  • Develop reusable content libraries, procedures, and narrative materials to improve reporting and proposal efficiency.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of experience in grant management or project management, with a heavy emphasis on reporting and execution.
  • Experience as a grantee managing report-outs to funders, preferred over foundation-side experience.
  • Exceptional writing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder projects with cross-functional inputs.
  • Technical proficiency in data analysis, basic financial tracking of budgets/spend, and AI tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Familiarity with compliance structures of large national philanthropic foundations.
  • Experience in the nonprofit or edtech sector, preferred.
