Description

  • Design, build, and maintain internal platform services and tools using Python and Node.js.
  • Develop APIs, automation services, CLIs, background workers, and platform control components.
  • Build tooling that abstracts infrastructure complexity away from product teams.
  • Write clean, testable, production-grade code for core platform systems.
  • Operate and evolve AWS and Kubernetes environments supporting critical workloads.
  • Build and maintain GitOps workflows and deployment strategies such as canary, blue/green, and progressive delivery.
  • Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Contribute to deployment, provisioning, observability, reliability, and security automation systems.
  • Own systems end-to-end, including design, implementation, deployment, and operation.
  • Participate in production troubleshooting and incident analysis while improving reliability, performance, and developer experience.

Requirements

  • Senior-level software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with Python and Node.js.
  • Solid understanding of APIs, async systems, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with Linux and cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Ability to read and reason about infrastructure code.
  • Strong debugging skills and a production mindset.
  • GCP experience is a strong plus.
  • Production experience with Kubernetes is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and GitOps is a strong plus.
  • Experience building internal platforms or developer tooling is a strong plus.
  • Experience with advanced deployment or traffic strategies is nice to have.
  • Observability tooling experience, including logs, metrics, and tracing, is nice to have.
