Description

  • Advise clients on modern data and analytics best practices and strategies.
  • Design end-to-end data analytics solution architectures and drive implementation.
  • Integrate data sources to develop models and reports for business users.
  • Configure and operationalize Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and address business needs.
  • Troubleshoot solutions and communicate recommendations clearly to clients.
  • Stay current with Microsoft technologies, cloud data strategy, and modern data platform practices.
  • Deliver commitments on time and maintain accountability for assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering and data modeling.
  • Data engineering experience in Azure and familiarity with Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT, dimensional/Kimball data modeling, and T-SQL.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory or strong SSIS experience, Azure Data Lake Store, SQL Server/Azure SQL, and SSAS/Azure Analysis Services Tabular.
  • Ability to design and implement end-to-end data analytics architectures.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices and a deep understanding of Agile engineering practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, troubleshooting, collaboration, adaptability, and client-service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and on teams, meet commitments, take ownership, and hold self and others accountable.
  • Preferred experience with Azure Synapse, Power BI/DAX, Databricks, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure AD, Python, Spark, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  • Previous consulting, application development, database administration, or performance-tuning experience is preferred.
