Description

  • Build and maintain databases, data pipelines, and data lakes.
  • Transform and model data to support reporting, analytics, and dashboard development.
  • Work directly with clients to understand business problems, decision-making needs, and solution expectations.
  • Collaborate with technical experts on the DADP team throughout the full data analytics development lifecycle.
  • Gather requirements, deliver solutions, and document lessons learned.
  • Use analytical and problem-solving skills to create scalable and reliable data solutions.
  • Communicate with clients and team members clearly, concisely, and professionally.
  • Balance multiple projects while meeting commitments, deadlines, and client needs.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify and address business needs.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of work experience in data engineering.
  • Experience with Azure technologies and modern data platform tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Fabric.
  • Strong understanding of Agile engineering practices.
  • Experience with data warehouse and lakehouse methodologies, including medallion architecture.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data profiling, anomaly detection, and data modeling (Dimensional/Kimball).
  • Strong SQL skills and a strong background in relational database platforms.
  • Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery practices.
  • Growing familiarity and experience in Python.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, oral/written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Previous consulting experience is preferred but not required.
  • Desire for continued education and certification related to the position.
