Description

Own the payments platform end to end and set the payments roadmap.
Audit and improve the dunning and rebill recovery stack.
Evaluate payment vendors and decide whether to optimize, switch, or add layers.
Improve initial authorization rates through routing optimization, network tokenization, express checkout, and experimentation.
Write product specs and coordinate implementation with the engineering scrum team.
Pull and analyze performance data directly from the data warehouse and BI tools.
Negotiate vendor SLAs and manage external payment partners.
Present findings and recommendations to the CFO and other stakeholders.
Drive incident resolution when payments issues or outages occur.
Monitor and improve chargebacks, fraud posture, and compliance-related operations.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in payments product or payments program management in subscription or e-commerce environments.
Hands-on experience with payment orchestration platforms and multi-MID routing.
Experience with dunning and recovery, including retry logic, involuntary churn metrics, and vendor evaluation.
Ability to work independently with modern BI tools and extract your own data without relying on an analyst.
Demonstrated use of LLMs and agentic tools in product work today; this is a minimum qualification.
Comfort with chargebacks, fraud posture, and regulatory compliance context.
Must be based in Latin America and able to overlap with US Eastern business hours.
Experience presenting to senior leadership such as a CFO is implied by the role's scope (preferred).

Benefits

Full-time contract via Maxana with a long-term engagement.
Compensation of $6,000–7,500 USD per month depending on experience.
