Description

  • Design, validate, and deploy scalable optimization frameworks and statistical distribution models.
  • Develop and evaluate complex methodologies and implement advanced statistical procedures.
  • Refine core statistical baselines and analytical logic for consumer analytics products.
  • Partner cross-functionally to convert ad hoc code into standardized, version-controlled templates and logic libraries.
  • Ensure analytical outputs support product surfaces including interactive dashboards and LLM-driven applications.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to improve code performance and scale analytical workflows.
  • Transition complex statistical calculations into efficient, production-grade cloud compute architectures.

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of professional data science experience, or 2–3 years with an advanced degree.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field (strongly preferred).
  • Expertise in modeling and optimizing statistical distributions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python or R.
  • Expert-level SQL skills.
  • Experience with panel data or longitudinal consumer data (preferred).
  • Experience analyzing receipt or transaction-level consumer data (preferred).
  • Experience with Databricks and scaling advanced compute workloads (preferred).
  • Ability to work East Coast hours; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
