Description

  • Build and deploy production-ready machine learning solutions using classical ML and statistical methods.
  • Own ML models end-to-end, including data pipelines, modelling, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Improve the scalability and reliability of existing ML data pipelines.
  • Partner with software engineers and product managers to translate business problems into practical ML solutions.
  • Serve as the data science specialist within the Data Products team.
  • Identify product and business opportunities for ML and GenAI and select appropriate technical approaches.
  • Collaborate with platform and LLM Ops teams on infrastructure needs.
  • Help shape the ML and AI roadmap and influence capabilities across products.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying production machine learning solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and classical machine learning, including evaluating approaches by problem, scale, and cost.
  • Experience owning end-to-end ML projects, from data preparation through deployment and monitoring.
  • Strong Python skills, including scikit-learn or similar frameworks, and SQL proficiency.
  • Proactive approach to solving ambiguous or undefined problems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • English proficiency at C1 level or above.
  • Experience with AWS, Terraform, or dbt (preferred).
  • Experience with LLMs or GenAI-based solutions (preferred).
  • German language skills (preferred).
