Description

  • Review and validate vendor, invoice, bill, payment, and transaction records exported from ERP systems.
  • Apply accounting knowledge to determine how transactions should be represented in expense data.
  • Review and correct vendor mappings and spend-category assignments.
  • Identify and resolve duplicate, incomplete, and inconsistent records.
  • Investigate root causes of data-quality issues and improve processing rules with data and engineering teams.
  • Ensure final expense data is accurate and reliable for business analysis.
  • Comply with company data-security and confidentiality policies.
  • Coordinate with remote data and engineering teams in the U.S. and China.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • 0–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, finance data analysis, or quality-assurance experience, including internships.
  • Experience with transaction categorization, invoice processing, expense review, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general-ledger entries.
  • Hands-on experience with an ERP, accounting, or expense-management system such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Ramp, or Xero.
  • Understanding of accounting standards, accounting categories, and company accounting records.
  • Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with remote teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills across time zones and cultures.
  • Basic data-analysis skills and familiarity with Excel, SQL, or Python preferred.
  • Availability to work remotely from India, primarily 8 am–5 pm IST, with some overlap with U.S. or China work hours; able to start as soon as possible and no later than June 2025.
