Description

  • Review and validate vendor, invoice, bill, payment, and transaction records exported from ERP systems.
  • Apply accounting knowledge to determine how transactions should be reflected in expense data.
  • Review and correct vendor and spend-category mappings.
  • Identify and resolve duplicate, incomplete, and inconsistent records.
  • Investigate data-quality issues and their root causes.
  • Collaborate with data and engineering teams to improve data-processing rules.
  • Ensure final data is accurate and reliable for business expense analysis.
  • Comply with company data-security and confidentiality policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above; preferred fields include Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, finance-data, or quality-assurance analyst experience, including internships.
  • Experience with accounting processes such as transaction categorization, invoice processing, expense review, reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, or general ledger entries.
  • Hands-on experience with an ERP, accounting, or expense-management system such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Ramp, or Xero.
  • Familiarity with accounting standards, accounting categories, and company accounting records.
  • Ability to manage multiple processes in parallel with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with remote teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills across time zones and cultures.
  • Basic data-analysis skills and familiarity with Excel, SQL, or Python (preferred).
  • Based in India, available for 8 am–5 pm IST hours with some overlap with China or U.S. teams, and able to start as soon as possible and no later than June 2025.
