Description

  • Communicate with internal teams and external partners to support project goals.
  • Create city-level transit data policies based on local market needs and regulations.
  • Identify user expectations, data gaps, and transit-related issues.
  • Improve transit data models using local knowledge of transportation systems.
  • Validate, review, edit, and maintain transit data and resolve complex transit data issues.
  • Support program managers in communications with data providers and partners.
  • Conduct field research to verify transit information and user-reported issues.
  • Support outage and alert management for assigned cities.
  • Manage city-specific data pipelines using internal platforms and basic programming skills.
  • Create country-specific guideline documents for operations teams.
  • Provide local expertise for mapping policies and regional regulations.
  • Review and troubleshoot mapping and operational issues.
  • Act as a point of contact for country-specific mapping questions.
  • Perform quality audits, identify operational errors, and review imported mapping data before integration.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Good communication skills in English and the local language.
  • Basic programming knowledge in Python, Java, C#, or C++.
  • Familiarity with GIS or mapping tools.
  • Strong knowledge of local transit systems, traffic laws, and landmarks.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting mapping operations or transit data work is preferred.
