Description

  • Communicate with internal teams, external partners, data providers, and program managers to support mapping initiatives.
  • Create city-level transit policies and country-specific operational guidelines based on local needs and regulations.
  • Identify user expectations, data gaps, transit issues, and mapping operational errors.
  • Improve, edit, maintain, validate, and review transit and mapping data.
  • Resolve complex transit, mapping, and location-data issues using local expertise.
  • Conduct field research and quality audits to verify transit information, user issues, and data accuracy.
  • Review imported mapping data before system integration and ensure correct political and regional formats.
  • Support outage and alert management for assigned cities.
  • Manage city-specific data pipelines using internal platforms and basic programming skills.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language.
  • Basic programming knowledge in Python, Java, C#, or C++.
  • Familiarity with GIS or mapping tools.
  • Strong knowledge of local transit systems, traffic laws, landmarks, and regional regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
