Description

  • Lead quality efforts for major product areas and cross-team initiatives, including functional, integration, performance, and system test strategies.
  • Enable developers to shift quality left by supporting local acceptance testing and stronger validation practices.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests using tools such as Python, Pytest, TypeScript, and Playwright.
  • Plan and complete Readiness Review testing, including epic-level acceptance and exploratory testing.
  • Investigate staging and production issues through reproduction, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
  • Participate in post-incident reviews and drive solutions that prevent recurring incidents.
  • Partner with engineering leaders to close test-coverage and framework gaps and implement AI-assisted testing improvements.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level Quality Engineers and participate in technical interviews.
  • Balance quality risks against delivery schedules and collaborate with architects and development leads on system testability.
  • Participate in on-call shifts and respond to assigned alerts.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in test planning, automation framework use, and Agile collaboration.
  • Advanced proficiency with test automation and programming tools such as Python, Pytest, Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with performance, security, integration, and exploratory testing methodologies.
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable test automation solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and release troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience enabling development teams to own testing and fostering collective quality ownership.
  • Ability to build test-coverage strategies across unit, functional, and acceptance tests.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and issue-escalation skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Must be authorized to work and located in the country specified for the role.
  • Experience using Generative AI or LLMs in software testing (preferred).
  • Experience with identity, authentication, MDM, cloud platforms, Gherkin, Cypress, Go unit testing, AWS, or startup environments (preferred).
