Description

  • Define and own the long-term product and commercial strategy for the Software sector.
  • Set measurable growth, ARR, and profit margin goals and manage the sector’s financial performance.
  • Prioritize and resource the highest-ROI opportunities across datasets, product improvements, and market expansions.
  • Own the voice of the customer by translating investor needs into product enhancements, data coverage, and differentiated insights.
  • Maintain strong product-market fit and drive ongoing innovation using data, AI, and customer feedback.
  • Recruit, motivate, and develop research and data talent while fostering accountability and excellence.
  • Lead and align cross-functional partners across Research, Data, Revenue, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Partnerships, and Product.
  • Set clear OKRs, monitor progress, and ensure disciplined execution across the sector.
  • Collaborate across the organization to share best practices and coordinate commercial execution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience developing or using investor-facing equity research assets.
  • Experience in data product development, go-to-market execution, team leadership, and P&L ownership.
  • Background in equity research or business analysis with a passion for data-driven fundamental investing.
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team of analysts (2+), delegating operations, and expanding coverage.
  • Focused experience in the Software sector is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with investor-facing equity research assets and exposure to data product building is preferred.
  • Ability to execute product and commercial strategies effectively.
  • Remote-friendly work eligibility in NYC, one of the office hubs, or elsewhere in the US.
