Description

  • Design, validate, and deploy scalable optimization frameworks and distribution models.
  • Explore and execute complex methodologies and evaluate methodological trade-offs.
  • Implement advanced statistical procedures for panel science and consumer analytics foundations.
  • Transition ad hoc code into standardized, version-controlled templates and logic libraries.
  • Partner cross-functionally to structure analytics for dashboards and LLM-driven applications.
  • Work with Data Engineering to optimize code performance and analytical workflows.
  • Help move statistical calculations from database queries into production-grade cloud compute architectures.

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of professional data science experience, or 2–3 years with an advanced degree.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a highly quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional expertise in working with, modeling, and optimizing statistical distributions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python or R and expert-level SQL.
  • Direct experience with panel data or longitudinal consumer data is a big plus.
  • Hands-on experience analyzing receipt data or transaction-level consumer data is a big plus.
  • Experience working with Databricks and scaling advanced compute workloads is a big plus.
  • Ability to work East Coast hours in a remote-friendly U.S.-based role.
  • Candidates must not currently or in the future require visa sponsorship.
