Description

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor for assigned enterprise accounts.
  • Conduct weekly onsite visits with customers and manufacturing partners to build relationships and understand needs.
  • Collaborate with customer engineers on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to optimize projects for Xometry's platform.
  • Proactively identify and resolve manufacturing challenges before they affect delivery or quality.
  • Stay aligned on upcoming customer projects and initiatives to match Xometry capabilities to demand.
  • Direct awarded orders to the most qualified manufacturers in Xometry's network.
  • Conduct monthly on-site audits of manufacturing partners to verify quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Manage projects through production to successful, on-time completion.
  • Handle customer order communications, changes, and escalations.
  • Partner with Enterprise Sales Executives to drive account growth, retention, and expansion opportunities.
  • Provide technical support during the sales process and gather customer feedback to inform sales strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field such as Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Product Design/Development, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, product development, and project management.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM principles, particularly for CNC applications.
  • Experience with Injection Molding, CNC Machining, Tube Bending, Composites, or 3D printing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in modeling and drafting software such as Solidworks.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to customer and partner sites, often on short notice and for short or multi-day trips.

  • Base salary of $79,000 to $103,000 annually plus commission, depending on skills, experience, and location.
