Description

  • Oversee credit decisioning and enforce standardized credit policies for new accounts and credit limit increase requests.
  • Review credit applications and supporting documentation to assess customer creditworthiness and repayment risk.
  • Manage the CLI intake workflow in Salesforce and ensure cases are routed and communicated appropriately through Slack alerts.
  • Use working capital analysis and risk guidelines to structure partial approvals or counter-offers when needed.
  • Manage parent-company-backed accounts by securing parental guarantee agreements and verifying signing authority.
  • Maintain SOX compliance by enforcing segregation of duties and preserving a complete audit trail.
  • Conduct quarterly portfolio reviews of top credit holders and prepare monthly exception reports.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and follow-up on findings.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting and credit workflows.
  • Support and guide junior staff while communicating financial matters with colleagues and management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in credit management, risk analysis, or accounts receivable portfolio management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience analyzing public and private financial statements, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and 10-K/10-Q filings.
  • Advanced proficiency with commercial credit reporting tools such as DUNS reporting.
  • Experience managing workflows in CRM and ERP systems; Salesforce and Intacct experience is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong understanding of SOX controls, segregation of duties, and audit trail requirements in the Order-to-Cash cycle.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for collaboration with Sales teams and executive clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make data-driven decisions that balance risk mitigation with revenue growth.
  • Preferred experience in a manufacturing or B2B technology environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices.
