Description

  • Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Python.
  • Design and optimize REST APIs, microservices, and backend workflows.
  • Work with PostgreSQL for schema design, queries, and performance tuning.
  • Develop automation scripts, integrations, and backend utilities.
  • Collaborate with product, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver features end to end.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of backend engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, such as Express, Fastify, or NestJS.
  • Solid Python experience for automation, APIs, scripts, or services.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with microservices, API design, and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with message queues such as SQS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka is a plus.
  • Experience with Redis or caching strategies is a plus.
  • Experience with serverless architecture, such as AWS Lambda, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana is a plus.
