Description

  • Assist with organizing risk assessments and maintaining up-to-date safety documentation.
  • Gather information to evaluate the safety of partners and internal processes.
  • Support the application of internal risk policies, including fraud prevention controls, across the company.
  • Work with Compliance and Finance teams on projects related to financial and operational risk.
  • Help identify, monitor, and manage risks faced by a global fintech.
  • Review data and flags carefully to ensure accuracy and safety.
  • Ask questions and raise concerns when issues do not look right.
  • Contribute to ongoing daily tasks and projects within the Risk team.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Maths, Law, or a related field.
  • Must be based in Gibraltar for the full 2-month internship period from July 6th to August 28th.
  • Mandatory in-person attendance for onboarding on July 6th and 7th.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Exposure to data analysis, business ethics, or financial principles through studies or personal projects is beneficial.
  • Basic understanding of fraud prevention, data privacy, or similar business protection concepts is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and a careful, detail-oriented approach to reviewing data.
  • Ability to work well in a team and willingness to learn in a fast-paced fintech environment.
  • Exposure to risk management frameworks, basic data visualization, or audit processes is a plus.
  • Must have a dedicated workspace and reliable internet connection.
