Description

  • Develop and communicate the practice’s strategic direction and goals in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Create and execute initiatives that advance the practice and adjust plans as market conditions change.
  • Partner with leadership to build annual OKRs and drive accountability for results.
  • Manage and mentor Practice Managers who oversee project managers, consultants, solution architects, developers, and team leads.
  • Provide guidance across the practice and foster a high-performance, people-first culture.
  • Monitor and optimize team utilization to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Set and maintain practice methodologies and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex client and project issues.
  • Identify skill gaps and build training, upskilling, and long-term development plans for the team.
  • Review Statements of Work, negotiate credits, manage client expectations, and protect satisfaction and profitability.
  • Own the practice’s financial performance, including revenue, utilization, profitability, and cost management.
  • Contribute to decisions on tools and applications that support practice operations and scalability.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in a consulting practice, professional services firm, or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies in a fast-moving consulting context.
  • Financial acumen with experience owning a P&L, managing utilization targets, and driving revenue goals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Track record of building and executing strategic plans that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt as priorities shift.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a Microsoft Dynamics or ERP consulting environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SOW development, credit negotiations, and professional services commercial models is preferred.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership on OKR frameworks and organizational planning is preferred.
