Description

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to customer transactions and payments operations.
  • Execute daily or weekly payments to vendors and business partners.
  • Manage transaction statements and perform reconciliations of company assets.
  • Carry out controls to ensure financial data quality, completeness, and integrity.
  • Support the Finance team with reconciliation and control activities.
  • Monitor card transaction processing, including authorizations and settlements.
  • Handle debit card transaction disputes and fraud claims.
  • Assist Customer Support with customer inquiries related to operations and cards.
  • Support back-office tasks and ensure timely completion of operational activities.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and help improve operational policies, processes, procedures, and internal controls.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in an Operations department, ideally at a bank, fintech, or financial institution.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in at least one of these areas: payments, banking, financial reconciliation, or card disputes.
  • Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced Excel or database skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and act as a proactive self-starter.
  • Interest in technology and cryptocurrencies.
  • Dedicated workspace, reliable internet connection, and equipment that meets minimum technical specifications.
  • Alignment with Xapo values and values-driven leadership principles.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Miro (preferred).
  • Experience with Finastra or other core banking platforms (preferred).
  • Experience with G-Suite, Slack, and Zoom (preferred).
  • Experience with Mastercard Connect or VISA Online (preferred).
