Description

  • Lead and develop a team of 13 digital experience professionals across web development, CRO, and technical account management.
  • Oversee nearshore development contractors to ensure quality, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Define and evolve Wpromote’s website and digital experience strategy across platforms and clients.
  • Establish delivery standards, quality benchmarks, QA checkpoints, and estimation practices.
  • Manage the Digital Experience department P&L and maintain margin expectations.
  • Drive technical architecture decisions and enforce best practices across CMS platforms.
  • Elevate CRO capabilities by embedding experimentation frameworks and data-driven optimization into delivery.
  • Build scalable workflows, documentation standards, and operational processes across internal and external teams.
  • Partner cross-functionally with SEO, Content Marketing, Paid Media, Analytics, Lifecycle, and Client Services on performance-driven website strategies.
  • Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex client engagements and guide post-launch performance reviews.
  • Lead resource planning, utilization oversight, and contractor management to support margin-conscious delivery.
  • Contribute to executive planning, innovation discussions, and enterprise pitches within the Earned & Owned Media team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in web development, digital experience, or technical delivery roles within an agency environment.
  • 4+ years leading engineering or digital experience teams.
  • Strong technical background in development and systems architecture, not purely sales or client-facing leadership.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Salesforce, Magento, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of website performance, CRO, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Experience managing distributed or nearshore development teams.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development practices.
  • Familiarity with SEO and paid media integrations within web builds.
  • Experience creating scalable systems, processes, and QA standards across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to think in systems and connect technical delivery to business outcomes.
  • Comfort serving as a senior escalation point on complex technical accounts.
  • Strong operational leadership skills, including resource planning and delivery oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear business impact.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with automation, AI-driven optimization, and emerging web technologies is preferred.
