Description

  • Own the data ecosystem, including the health, cost, and observability of the stack.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Design and manage data warehouses and data models that support advanced analytics and self-service reporting.
  • Develop and maintain data lakes, warehouses, and databases for analytics and AI workflows.
  • Optimize SQL and Python workloads, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Implement data quality frameworks to improve reliability and integration across systems.
  • Maintain clear documentation for data engineering processes and governance.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and customers to translate business goals into technical requirements.
  • Support AI/ML initiatives by creating models and data foundations that enhance analytics.
  • Present data insights and actionable recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles with ownership of pipelines and infrastructure optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including CTE optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, including complex scripting and ML/AI-related work.
  • Experience architecting data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Experience with tools such as Fivetran, Snowflake, and DBT.
  • Experience building business-driven analytics and visualization solutions with PowerBI, Sigma, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to communicate analytical insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Master’s degree in engineering or analytics.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with AWS and big data technologies such as Snowflake.
  • Preferred: Experience leading data engineering projects and integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Preferred: Experience working in small teams and agile environments.
