Description

  • Design, implement, and operate deployment pipelines built around Bazel.
  • Own Bazel-based build, packaging, artifact, and release workflows.
  • Implement reproducibility, remote caching, and remote execution capabilities.
  • Integrate Bazel into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
  • Manage dependency handling and environment promotion across deployment stages.
  • Support Infrastructure as Code and provisioning workflows with Terraform.
  • Deploy and operate workloads in AWS.
  • Troubleshoot build performance, pipeline failures, and deployment reliability issues.
  • Collaborate on internal platform capabilities that improve developer productivity and deployment safety.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of professional experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience building and operating deployment pipelines using Bazel.
  • Experience with Bazel from a DevOps or platform engineering perspective, including build orchestration, artifact packaging, caching, remote execution, and release workflows.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
  • Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Solid experience deploying and operating workloads in AWS.
  • Experience with artifact repositories, container build workflows, and release promotion processes.
  • Experience troubleshooting build performance, pipeline failures, and deployment reliability issues.
  • Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Experience managing shared Bazel infrastructure across multiple teams or services (preferred).
  • Experience tuning Bazel remote cache and remote execution performance (preferred).
  • Experience integrating Bazel with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms (preferred).
  • Experience supporting containerized deployments to Kubernetes, EKS, or ECS (preferred).
  • Experience with secrets management, policy enforcement, and secure software supply chain practices (preferred).
  • Familiarity with release engineering, artifact provenance, and reproducible build strategies (preferred).
  • Residents of the United States with the right to work without need for visa sponsorship.
