Description

  • Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payment processing across multiple entities.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support the Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure quality execution and adherence to company policies and service standards.
  • Review invoices and payment requests for accuracy, correct coding, approval requirements, PO matching, tax treatment, and supporting documentation.
  • Oversee vendor onboarding, vendor master maintenance, and compliance documentation requirements.
  • Monitor AP aging, pending approvals, disputed invoices, and unresolved items, and drive timely resolution and escalation.
  • Lead month-end AP close activities, including AP accrual preparation, review, analysis, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare AP aging reports, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with procurement, accounting, tax, treasury, HR, and business stakeholders to resolve invoice, payment, and reimbursement issues.
  • Lead AP audit support and maintain organized records, tax records, and audit schedules for statutory and group audits.
  • Drive process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled transformation initiatives across AP operations and procure-to-pay workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or fast-paced technology environment.
  • 3–4 years of experience leading or supervising AP staff or shared services operations.
  • Strong understanding of AP operations, procure-to-pay processes, financial controls, and month-end close activities.
  • Working knowledge of local GAAP and U.S. GAAP.
  • Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing AP accruals and reconciliations.
  • Strong knowledge of VAT/GST and withholding tax requirements.
  • Proven experience driving AP process improvements, finance transformation, or automation initiatives.
  • Experience with automation tools, workflow systems, AI-enabled solutions, or process optimization initiatives is highly preferred.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as NetSuite, Coupa, Levelpath, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace tools.
  • Experience supporting global AP operations or shared services environments is preferred.
  • Experience partnering with outsourced accounting or tax service providers across Asia-Pacific regions is preferred.
  • Continuous improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, or process optimization experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in a SaaS or technology company environment is a plus.
