Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions with Ruby on Rails.
  • Solve complex technical challenges related to performance, concurrency, and distributed architecture.
  • Lead technical initiatives and mentor other team members.
  • Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
  • Participate in architectural decisions for the platform.
  • Support the migration of infrastructure to AWS.
  • Contribute to improvements in scalability, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

  • Proven recent experience using Ruby on Rails on core projects, not only side projects.
  • Strong track record building and scaling large, complex products with high concurrency, millions of users, and critical integrations.
  • Expertise in performance optimization, architecture design, and scalability.
  • Experience leading projects or technical teams in e-commerce, marketplaces, or large-scale digital platforms.
  • General frontend knowledge with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Advanced English level (C1 or higher) is mandatory.
  • Current residence in Argentina is mandatory.
  • Experience with Ruby, PostgreSQL, and AWS is relevant.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.
  • Tech stack includes Ruby on Rails and React in some areas of the project.
