Description

  • Lead threat modeling and security review exercises across Wiz’s production and CI/CD environments.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in Wiz’s products and the cloud services that support them.
  • Drive vulnerability management and remediation efforts, including prioritization, mitigation, and preventive controls.
  • Build scalable detection and response capabilities to identify malicious activity and investigate incidents.
  • Triage alerts, investigate security incidents, and support remediation efforts.
  • Partner with software development and DevOps teams to secure products and infrastructure.
  • Build deep functional partnerships with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions.
  • Use Wiz-for-Wiz to assess, monitor, and harden Wiz’s environments and influence the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
  • Experience with AWS platforms and services, or equivalent experience in Azure and GCP.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, including AWS EKS, and container infrastructure.
  • Experience with IAM and managing cloud identities at scale.
  • Experience securely developing and applying infrastructure-as-code solutions such as Terraform and Helm.
  • Experience with cloud-native observability and management tools.
  • Development experience in Go, Python, and Rust.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent job experience in lieu of a degree (preferred).
  • Experience working with remote, globally distributed teams (preferred).
  • Experience working in organizations that develop software or operate managed infrastructure and technology services for their own customers (preferred).
  • Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions (preferred).
  • Legal right to work in the country where the position is based without visa sponsorship; this role does not offer visa sponsorship.
