Description

  • Serve as a legal business partner to Wiz’s revenue teams by explaining legal concepts and risks in business-friendly terms.
  • Own the drafting, review, negotiation, and management of a broad range of legal agreements.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on contract interpretation and negotiation to help accelerate contract velocity.
  • Work with customers and internal clients to understand their perspectives and resolve issues from both legal and business angles.
  • Triage a heavy workflow, prioritize effectively, and deliver results efficiently.
  • Support continuous improvement of agreement templates, legal processes, and related CPQ and CLM practices.
  • Manage agreements in line with company policies and risk tolerance.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of in-house legal experience is required; technology company experience is preferred, and law firm experience combined with in-house experience will also be considered.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and experience handling data privacy questions in Data Processing Agreement negotiations is required.
  • Admitted to the bar and in good standing, or otherwise authorized to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
  • Demonstrated record of success as a lawyer.
  • Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate a high volume and broad range of contracts, including SaaS contracts, professional services agreements, partner agreements, and NDAs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, open-minded approach to advocacy.
  • Ability to work independently on a remote basis and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management systems.
  • Strong business-friendly mindset focused on supporting business growth and success.
  • Legal right to work in the country where the position is based without visa sponsorship; this role does not offer visa sponsorship.
