Description

  • Conduct deep technical research to discover and report novel risks and attack vectors in cloud- and AI-native architectures and systems.
  • Identify the highest unaddressed risk areas and translate research findings into product capabilities with Product and Engineering.
  • Develop proofs of risk that demonstrate impact and technical proofs of concept that show how to solve identified problems.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure comprehensive risk coverage and explore new and complex product scope.
  • Drive complex, multi-quarter research projects from initial concept through delivered impact.
  • Work across cross-functional teams to communicate findings and support shared goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in security or security research related to modern cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong hands-on scripting experience with languages such as Python or Go for automation and research.
  • Experience with query languages such as KQL or SQL for analyzing security telemetry.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage complex research projects over multiple quarters.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Track record of collaborating successfully with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Specialized knowledge or research experience in AI security, especially enterprise AI risk. (preferred)
  • Experience presenting at industry conferences, writing technical blog posts, or publishing research. (preferred)
  • Experience with data-driven research and large-scale security telemetry. (preferred)
  • Must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based without visa sponsorship.
