Description

  • Support the creation of supplemental documentation for underpaid or denied claims.
  • Review and organize claim documents, photos, adjuster notes, and scope information.
  • Draft invoices and submit final billing to insurance carriers or homeowners.
  • Track the status of estimates and invoices and follow up on missing items.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and shared file folders.
  • Assist the estimating and billing teams with administrative support related to claims processing.
  • Help ensure jobs are billed correctly and promptly.
  • Support communication and documentation needed for claim escalation and billing follow-up.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in health insurance, billing, or claims documentation.
  • Ability to interpret complex reports such as EOBs, adjuster estimates, and policy summaries.
  • Detail-oriented with strong data entry and document management skills.
  • Familiarity with billing cycles and escalation processes.
  • Experience with Xactimate, Symbility, or insurance supplementing is a plus.
  • Must be proficient in speaking and writing English very clearly.
  • Must have relevant work experience.
  • Must be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding.
  • Must be available for video meetings with camera on when needed.
  • Must not have other clients during required work hours.
  • Must have a reliable laptop or desktop computer.
  • Must have a high-speed internet connection of at least 10 Mbps.
  • Must have a noise-canceling headset and webcam for virtual meetings.
  • Must be able to work from a quiet, professional environment.
